Missed Final Assignment or Final Exam? – Winter Semester

If you have missed a final exam or a final assignment, please contact the Program Counselling Office (Johnston Hall, 133A or ext. 54800) during open door hours (Monday-Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm; Friday 10:00am-12:00pm) to discuss your options. You have five working days after the missed exam or final assignment deadline to submit a request for a deferred privilege, so please contact the office as soon as you are able. If you are unable to contact the office due to extreme circumstances, please take care of yourself first and then contact the office. 

Graduation Applications – Winter Semester

All graduation applications have been processed. If you were not contacted by me, your application has been moved to "Tentative". This means you have all the correct courses and the right amount of credits; all that is left is for you to successfully complete your current courses and have a 60% cumulative average. Enjoy the rest of the semester and good luck on exams!

Fall Semester Course Selection

Recall that course selection for the Fall semester will begin in June. The schedule will be posted in WebAdvisor next week. Please review it for options for the Fall and select sections to put in your Preferred Section in anticipation of registration in June.

If you have questions about course selection, you are welcome to come to a drop in time to have a discussion.

Mondays:  12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Tuesdays: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Thursdays: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Fridays: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Summer Semester Course Selection Ends Monday

Course selection for the Summer semester ends March 26th. The next opportunity to add courses to your Summer schedule is on Monday, April 30th, 2018. This Add Period will remain open until Friday, May 18th, 2018 for twelve week courses. Six week courses must be added by May 14th. When selecting courses during this Add Period be sure to check for exam conflicts in the Summer semester. The exam schedule will be posted April 27th. Students must not enrol in courses with conflicting exams (exams which are at the same time on the same day).

Melinda's Extended Drop In Hours

I encourage you to come and ask questions about course selection while you are still on campus. I have added additional drop in hours effective from now until April 20th:

Mondays:  12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Tuesdays: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Thursdays: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Fridays: 10:00 am to 11:00 am

S18 and F18 Course Selection Updates

Updates for Summer:

Course selection for Summer 2018 will begin March 6th and end on March 26th.

Changes to S18 and F18 Course Selection

Course selection is changing, effective immediately.

Summer course selection will begin March 5th.

Fall course selection will no longer occur in March and will begin some time in June.

Applying to Graduate

For those of you who are going to complete your courses in April, you need to apply to graduate by February 16th, 2018 to avoid a late penalty. You would have already received an email from the Registrar’s Office with instructions if you will complete 20.00 credits this semester. Please refer to the information on the graduation webpage for more information about the process (under "Current Students", select "Graduation" on the right hand side).
