The first day of the Summer semester is Thursday, May 10th.
A quick reminder that the next opportunity to add courses to your Summer schedule is on Monday, April 30, 2018. This Add Period will remain open until Friday, May 18th, 2018 for twelve week courses. Six week courses must be added by May 14th. When selecting courses during this Add Period be sure to check for exam conflicts in the Summer semester. The exam schedule will be posted April 27th. Students must not enrol in courses with conflicting exams (exams which are at the same time on the same day).
Weekly drop in hours will not be offered during the summer semester. The last day for weekly drop in hours will be Friday, April 20th (10am – 12pm). If you would like to meet with Melinda during the summer, please call extension 54800 during our open door hours.
Grades will begin to be displayed on WebAdvisor starting on Friday, April 27th, 2018. UPDATE: Due to the ice storm, some grades may not be posted until Monday, April 30th.
Please note that once a grade has been processed in the Office of Registrarial Services that course will no longer display on your “Class Schedule” or on your “Register and Drop Sections” screen on WebAdvisor. This may happen before grades are released.
If you have received an email about your missed exam on Saturday, please contact me (Melinda) asap.
The University is still working on details of deferred exam processes for exams missed due to the ice storm. An email from the University will be sent with updates (hopefully) later today.
I need to cancel my drop in hours today (I can't get out of my driveway!). My apologies for the cancellation.
Updates for Summer:
The Add Period for the Summer semester will run from April 30th to May 18th (May 14th for 6-week courses). The exam schedule will be posted for Summer exams on April 27th.
Updates for Fall:
Course selection for Fall 2018 will begin June 18th. Selection will open in windows (so you might not select on the 18th). Windows for selection will be emailed to you in May. The Fall schedule is posted on WebAdvisor now, so you can build your schedule and ask questions before you leave campus.
If you have missed a final exam or a final assignment, please contact the Program Counselling Office (Johnston Hall, 133A or ext. 54800) during open door hours (Monday-Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm; Friday 10:00am-12:00pm) to discuss your options. You have five working days after the missed exam or final assignment deadline to submit a request for a deferred privilege, so please contact the office as soon as you are able. If you are unable to contact the office due to extreme circumstances, please take care of yourself first and then contact the office.
Please note that the last day of classes is April 6th and the exam period will begin on April 9th (ending April 20th). Good luck on exams!
All graduation applications have been processed. If you were not contacted by me, your application has been moved to "Tentative". This means you have all the correct courses and the right amount of credits; all that is left is for you to successfully complete your current courses and have a 60% cumulative average. Enjoy the rest of the semester and good luck on exams!
