Application Deadline: Distinctly Deloitte

Want to work at Deloitte? The Distinctly Deloitte event in Toronto is a must-attend event. Space is limited for this exclusive event.

Registration

Interested students can register for the session on the Deloitte website. The Deloitte Campus team will be managing the registration for the event.

Registration for both sessions will close on Friday, August 25, and will be first-come, first-serve.

• We will share the final list of student attendees with you ahead of the event
• Students are able to attend one session only
• Participants will be required to present ID to receive their name tag to enter the event; those not on the registration list will not be admitted into the event

We will be collecting the following information:

•  Student’s first name and last name
•  School name
•  Year of Study
•  Program
•  Email address

 Once registration has closed, students will received a confirmation email with event details. 

 NOTE:  As a reminder, the Distinctly Deloitte will replace some of the on-campus visits the CPA team has done in the past at your school. Students interested in Deloitte are strongly encouraged to RSVP for one of the sessions and make every effort to attend.

Event Format

During the three-hour event, students will rotate in a group through various sessions at designated times. Students can choose how they spend their day – spending more time networking or attending each breakout – but can expect the following:

• Small group conversations on various Deloitte topics throughout the session
• Short presentations showcasing life at the firm
• A networking space with Deloitte practitioners and Partners 
• The opportunity to take a peek at the state-of-the-art building

Preparing for the Event

Here are a few key items students should keep in mind when preparing for the sessions:

• Dress code for the event is business professional 
• If students are unsure of what this means, ask them to think about what they would wear to an interview
• There will be approximately 40 Deloitte representatives available to connect with during the session; We encourage students to speak to as many practitioners and Partners as they can throughout the event
• Students should use their time how they want…Whether they would like to attend the presentations and network, or just focus on networking – it’s up to them. They should think about what interactions/information is most valuable
