Are you using LinkedIn effectively when it comes to social networking and promoting your value as part of a job search?  Participate in this hands-on workshop to learn strategies on how to enhance your profile, network effectively and maximize your presence on this powerful networking tool!  This workshop is held for BCOMM students only A minimum of 6 students is required in order to run the workshop.   Attention students! BDO is coming to campus to get to know BCOMM students. Come learn about opportunities in assurance, accounting, tax and advisory from some of BDO's representatives. Beer Seminar: An intro to Sour, Tart and Funky Beer (deadline to register)

Why is my beer sour?  In this seminar, we discuss beer fermented and soured with wild yeast and bacteria.  Common strains of microbes used to produce these beers, as well as modern. The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 1 Award in Spirits will introduce you to the basic principles of spirit production and the main types and styles of spirits available.   You will also learn how to serve spirits and understand the factors affecting the flavour of spirits.
