Julian Brass, a notable B. Comm. graduate of Hotel and Food Administration in 2006 founded Notable.ca, Canada’s first digital publication that provides relevant and engaging content for young, ambitious and trendy professionals.  Julian launched Notable.ca  in 2008 which has become the leading source and lifestyle guide for young professionals (aka:  YPs) across Canada.  Julian and his professional teams definitely live by the website’s tagline, “Young. Professional. Connected.”

Upon graduation from the University of Guelph, Julian moved to San Francisco where he joined the start-up, Engage.com, a social networking and online dating website.  Driven by his vision for Notable.ca, Julian moved back to Toronto where he has become one of “Toronto’s Hottest Young Entrepreneurs,” according to the Globe and Mail.  Julian states, “Through the supportive staff at the University I was able to gain the confidence I needed to take chances and act on my ideas.”

Notable.ca works with national and local brands and advertising agencies to help reach more than 75,000 members across Canada.  Notable has teams in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary who publish information relevant to young professionals in their area.  The website profiles YPs and entrepreneurs, connects individuals with experts in their areas and highlights social and professional networking events.  The online community is a virtual hub for young professionals who want “The pulse of all things fresh, relevant, and of course, notable.”

Julian’s goal for the next few years is to continue to grow Notable.ca and to live a well-balanced life.  “My drive comes from knowing my work positively impacts young professionals inside and outside their working lives.”  His ability to positively impact others extends beyond his career with Notable.ca.  Julian uses his business to offer support to local charities and donates his free time to the National Advertising Benevolent Society and the Canadian Technion Society.
