International Study Opportunities

In a marketplace that is becoming increasingly global, experiencing a different country can be a great way to gain an understanding of cultural differences.

Since the College’s creation in 2006, hundreds of business and economics students have participated in international study programs offered by the University of Guelph. Both undergraduate and graduate students can apply to participate in opportunities with one of the University of Guelph’s 100 exchange partners or six semester abroad programs. With 36 countries to choose from, you'll have plenty of opportunities to spread your wings and experience life as a student in another culture.

Many business students travel to the following countries:

  • Australia
  • Austria
  • China
  • England
  • France
  • Ireland
  • Scotland
  • Sweden

Learn more about studying abroad and search for the program that’s right for you on the Centre for International Programs’ website.

Camille Gardiner on her exchange semester to Austria

"I studied international business while on my exchange semester in Austria, which as a business student I found very valuable. But even more valuable was my experiences travelling over there. When you talk about a culture and how it influences business that's great, but when you're actually living it, it's that much more real."
