Feb. 27: Professors Ross McKitrick, Sylvain Charlebois and Sean Lyons make headlines

College of Business and Economics professors have made headlines in the past week with topics ranging from carbon pricing and food prices, to supply management and the multi-generational workplace. 

Economics professor Ross McKitrick's op-ed, written with the Fraser Institute's Kenneth P. Green, was featured in the Edmonton Sun. The article discusses the Ontario government's Climate Change Discussion Paper released on February 12. The Paper covers a number of public policies including putting a price on carbon, which McKitrick and Green say is "not all it's cracked up to be." 

Professor Sylvain Charlebois made headlines in the National Post, discussing the complexity of supply managementGlobal News where he was interviewed about spiking food prices, and the Morning Post Exchange, where he wrote about Coke's move into selling milk

Department of Management professor Sean Lyons was interviewed by Global News and the Guelph Mercury about hot jobs and ones to avoid, key skills to include on a resume and the challenges of generational differences in the workplace.
