July 23: CME Faculty Member Anne Wilcock Making an Impact on Quality

Professor Anne Wilcock is a member of the organizing committee for the 2nd Annual Canadian Quality Congress that will be held at the University of Toronto, August 23-25, 2010. The Conference is the premier Canadian event on quality management and business excellence, with the goal of discussing total quality management research, practices, and applications in a variety of industries. 

This year’s conference is expected to attract between 300 and 400 delegates. Anne will be presenting 3 papers related to her work on employee embracement of quality management/assurance programs in various aspects of Canadian business, particularly with respect to food safety practices. These studies are also related to her work as the Canadian delegate to the quality management and quality assurance initiatives of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
