Oct. 23: College of Business and Economics launches Notable Alumni project

The College of Business and Economics recently unveiled the first phase of a new web project dedicated to showcasing the stories and profiles of notable University of Guelph business and economics alumni. Ranging from executives of high-profile companies to successful entrepreneurs, these alumni exemplify the values of the University of Guelph in their leadership roles.

Featured alumni were selected based on a number of criteria including professional success, influence and impact on industry and community, external recognition through awards and honours, and commitment to bettering society. Alumni were chosen by via committee. 

The launch of the Notable Alumni webpage marks the first phase of the project, which will continue to feature new profiles. The new webpage displays the photos of each of the featured alumni in a mosaic-like design and visitors can filter through the list using a drop-down menu of areas of study or by typing in a last name.
