Join the Arrell Food Institute at the University of Guelph June 5-6th, 2017 for the 3rd Food & Agriculture Business Seminar. The Seminar is a dynamic environment where current and critical issues facing the food supply system are studied and discussed by emerging and established leaders in this sector. Animal welfare, traceability, efficiencies and environmental sustainability will all be discussed and debated during the five different case studies. In our feature case, we will be diving into the controversial waters of genetically modified organisms with AquaBounty, the business behind a genetically engineered Atlantic salmon. This is a seminar for the entire food supply chain: farmers, processors, food services, retailers and all those who support them. Explore seminar web page [1] to learn more about the cases, the event format and registration rates or email foodinstitute@uoguelph.ca.
