Students enrolled in the University of Guelph’s Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) program strive to become business leaders with a social conscience. Our program features a diverse range of majors to choose from, each emphasizing sustainability, collaboration and community engagement. As a student in our BComm program, you will be equipped with the knowledge and experience needed to start your career after graduation or pursue graduate school.
Using business to build a better world
We believe that business can be used as a tool for social, environmental and economic betterment in the world. By choosing the BComm program at the University of Guelph's College of Business and Economics, you'll receive a specialized business education, tailored to your interests.
As a BComm student, you have the ability to specialize in a business area that interests you the most. Rather than obtaining a general business degree, you'll receive a business education that matches what employers are looking for. Many of our majors feature a co-op option that offers a valuable opportunity to gain relevant paid work experience prior to graduation.
Your business education should be as unique as you are. In addition to becoming a skilled business professional, our BComm program allows you to develop complementary skills and knowledge in areas that will see you become a more well rounded business professional upon graduating. You can explore your entrepreneurial side at our Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE), obtain a certificate in leadership or hospitality studies, or complete an elective course from other business, arts, social sciences or mathematics programs. Flexibility is part of our philosophy.
