Careers in Biology Day

Date and Time

Summerlee Science Complex

Wondering what you will do with your graduate degree in biology? This annual CBS Careers in Biology Day is an exciting opportunity for current graduate students to meet with representatives from industry, government, academia and the non-profit sector to talk about the different career paths that await you in an informal panel discussion setting. There will be multiple sessions for you to choose from over the course the morning, organized by departmental themes.

Following a free lunch in the atrium for all registered participants, the afternoon will consist of two workshops: "CVs and Interviews. How to Set Yourself Apart in a Job Search", led by Jill Ferguson from the Experiential Learning Hub, and "Building Your Online Professional Identify" with Ryan Reiger and Matthew Murray from the Library. Space for the afternoon workshops will be limited, so register early!

Date: Tuesday, April 30, 2019
Location: Summerlee Science Complex
