If you wish to test your UofG credentials and browser configuration with the UofG Single Sign On then please use the SSO Tryout page referenced below. You will be asked to provide your Central Login Account [1] (CLA) username and password. After you authenticate with the UofG SSO you will land on the tryout page; if you have already authenticated with UofG SSO you will see the SSO Tryout page right away without entering your CLA username and passwords.
If you experience any problems during authentication then the following troubleshooting guide may help:
Scenario 1: Authentication Failed message
After you enter your Central Login Account username and password you receive “Authentication Failed” message. This means that your username or password is invalid – please verify the username and password and try again. If you are subscribed to the “Password Insurance” service you may reset your password – please see the Account Utilities [2] section. Please note that the UofG SSO service requires the Central Login Account credentials – same credentials you would use, for example, to access the GryphMail or WebAdvisor.
Scenario 2: Login screen refreshes without an error message
After you enter your username and password the SSO login screen refreshes - you receive the initial SSO login page again without any error messages. In this case your browser may not be configured to allow session cookies – please, see the browser configuration [3] section for more details.
Scenario 3: Cannot enter the username - the login screen is blank or incomplete
After you get redirected to the SSO service you receive a blank (white) page or the login screen is missing the login button – you cannot enter your credentials. In this case your browser may not be configured to support JavaScript (scripting) – please, see the browser configuration section [3] for more details.
