- Outlook 2016 comes with the Office 2016 for Mac Software Suite. University of Guelph staff, Faculty and IT Admins can acquire Office 2016 for Mac through the CCS Software Distribution site (Guelph.onthehub.com) at no charge. This version is a perpetual license, which means a user is not required to be logged in with their Office 365 account in order to activate the software. This is the recommended version for your work computer.
- All Staff, Faculty, Undergraduate and Graduate Students at the University of Guelph (including all affiliate campuses) and Guelph-Humber can acquire the Office 365 subscription version of Office 2016 for Mac through the Office 365 portal. This version is considered to be a subscription license that is provided free of charge from the University of Guelph and is assigned to your Office 365 account. In order to activate the subscription license version of Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac, a user must be logged in to their Microsoft Office applications with their University of Guelph Office 365 account. This version is also recommended for installation on Staff and Faculty Home or Personal devices.
