You may have noticed that you hardly get any spam in Gryph Mail. You may be wondering where all the spam has gone. Well, this absence of annoying spam is all by clever design by CCS! If, however, you find that you are beginning to get a lot of spam when you usually don't, please contact the CCS IT Help Centre [1]. You will need to save a few of your spam messages using the steps below, so that our Spam filtering can be adjusted.
- Within the Office365 web client, select the spammy message
- Right click the message, and from the pop-up message select View Message Details
- This will open a new browser window with the full header information for that message.
- Select the full text and copy that information in your email to the Help Centre so that it is part of the Footprints ticket.
The Gryph Mail service has been configured in such a way that incoming messages are checked for spam and viruses with the primary defense being the IronPort.
