Positive welfare for fish: rationale and ways forward (with livestream!)

Date and Time

Pathobiology/AHL 1800

Join us for a seminar by Dr. Becca Franks, a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at New York University.  Receiving her PhD in Social Psychology from Columbia University and completing a Killiam Postdoctoral Research Fellowship with the Animal Welfare Program at The University of British Columbia, her research has addressed issues at the intersection of animal welfare, motivation and personality.  For this CCSAW seminar, she will speak about work related to her present interest in fish welfare, discussing how positive welfare fits in with the present fish welfare literature and identifying promising areas for future investigation including research in naturalistic settings and leveraging citizen science opportunities.

This even will be livestreamed on CCSAW's YouTube Channel. Watch livestream.
