CCSAW Research Symposium

Date and Time

Pathobiology/AHL 1800

All are welcome to attend our Annual Research Symposium which features the work of our faculty and students, covering disciplines from animal biosciences and veterinary medicine, to philosophy and psychology.  The Symposium covers a range of topics related to animal welfare science, animal ethics and the role of animals in society.  It provides a forum for faculty and students to share research results, techniques and ideas, and to foster discussion and collaboration among the many interested individuals and research groups from across campus and other institutions.
Our keynote speaker this year is Dr. Melissa Bateson, Professor of Ethology, Centre for Behaviour & Evolution, Newcastle University. She will speak on: "Is telomere length a useful biomarker of cumulative stress exposure? Evidence from humans, starlings and rhesus macaques."
