Our graduates receive world-class education in animal welfare studies, and go on to make change happen. Their career paths include positions in academia, industry, government, and not for profits. They have become professors and researchers, welfare program managers and professionals at regulatory agencies. They have helped shape guidelines and policy for improving animal welfare. Some have worked on the development of Canada’s Codes of Practice for the Care and Handling of farm animals, others on guidelines for animals used in research and teaching with the Canadian Council on Animal Care.
