Ian Duncan is a pioneer of animal welfare science, and has spent much of his career developing methods of “asking” farm animals what they feel about the conditions in which they are kept and the procedures to which they are subjected; Dr. Duncan has expertise and knowledge of animal wefare in general, and of poultry welfare in particular. Dr. Duncan teaches ANSC 6700 – Animals in Society (graduate), and ANSC*4010 - Animal Welfare Judging and Evaluation (undergraduate).
