University of Guelph's New Exchange Partner - Glasgow Caledonian University

CIP is happy to announce our newest exchange partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), Scotland,UK, Europe.

GCU is a vibrant, innovative and multi-award winning University for the Common Good. GCU's modern city-centre campus provides an excellent learning environment for more than 20,000 students and 1,600 staff from more than 100 countries. GCU was the first university in Scotland to achieve EcoCampus Platinum certification for its environmental practices, and is one of the top 10 universities in UK for world-leading social work and social policy impact.

It's a home for International Students, be the first Guelph student to go on Glasgow Caledonian University Bilateral Exchange.

Courses are offered in a wide range of subjects, including Accounting, Applied Human Nutrition, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Computer Engineering, Criminal Justice & Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Engineering, Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Food Science , History, Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Human Resources & Organizational Behaviour. Courses specifically for international/exchange students can be found on the Course Calendar link. You can study at GCU for an academic year or in the Winter Semester.

Why go on Exchange?

  • As a UG student on exchange, you would pay UG tuition and fees, not international student tuition and fees.
  • You can take courses that count towards your degree while studying in another country.
  • You receive support before, during and after your exchange from the CIP office at UG and the international office at your host university.
  • You will build your intercultural skills and resume, learn about yourself and the world, make new friends, and develop a global perspective.
