Guelph Refugee Forum
The Forum is a member of the Syrian Refugee Support Consortium a volunteer-based, non-partisan initiative working to coordinate efforts amoung various faith and agnostic organizations, businesses, and social services in the Guelph-Wellington Area.
Foreign Trained Professional Co-op Program

In partnership with World University Service Canada’s (WUSC) Student Refugee Program, the University has sponsored two Syrian refugee students. The University has waived tuition for four years, and provided housing and meal plans for their first two semesters. The first student commenced their studies in Winter 2016, and the second student will start in Fall 2016.
Student Life and WUSC are fundraising for the costs associated with the resettlement of these two students.
English Language Programs
Open Learning and Educational Support is providing access to the English Language Certificate Program for two Syrian Refugee students interested in developing their language skills in order to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies at the University of Guelph.
