Congratulations to Mark Goldberg, an undergraduate student in the School of Computer Science, who took 2nd place in the Graphic and User Interface/Interactive Design category of the Connect Enabling Change competition.

Mark's application - called TremX - was designed to assist the millions of people around the world who have essential tremors or suffer with Parkinson's disease. Briefly, the app design would allow users to calibrate their phone to match the degree of their tremor. Items on the screen would then shift in response to the tremor to allow the user uninterrupted use of their phone.

Mark was also a finalist in the IDeA competition that was held as part of this year's OCE Discovery Event.
