Last week, with the help of 3rd year student Daniel Gabric, SoCS and Freshbooks ran an ACM-style programming contest in Reynolds 114.

The event drew 23 students from both the SoCS and the School of Engineering.  Due to the success of the event:

  • the contest has been opened to everyone, and
  • there will be another event planned in the near future. Stay tuned for details.

Congratulations to Michael Lang who was the first student to solve the first challenge. There is $100 of prize money remaining which will be awarded to the first undergrad who can solve all 5 problems. Click here to view all of the questions.
