Food Waste Hackathon

Students, get involved! Come and crack the complex issue of food waste in just 24 hours. The University of Guelph is hosting a Food Waste Hackathon on Saturday, November 8th to Sunday, November 9th in the Science Complex Atrium.

The Food Waste hackathon is all about creating smart solutions to eliminate food waste. Students will have just 24 hours to develop strategic and software solutions to contribute to the complex food waste issue. Team sizes range from two to four students and must include at least one student from the School of Computer Science and one student from a separate college. Meals will be provided for registered teams.
