The School of Computer Science is proud to host the Net Zero Hackathon this coming weekend - March 28th and 29th.

The event, organized by the SOCIS and the ES@UofG, will bring together undergraduate and graduate students (including recent grads) from the College of Physical and Engineering Sciences and the College of Business and Economics to build tools to encourage homeowners and residents to reduce their energy consumption.

To kick off the hackathon, participants will take part in a knowledge exchange event on Wednesday March 25th (in Reynolds 114), which will be immediately followed by a mixer at the Brass Taps. The hackathon will run from 9am on Saturday, March 28th, and end on Sunday, March 29th by 2:30pm. The event is sponsored by Sandbox Software Solutions.
