How does CPS support ongoing research?
The Centre is also committed to supporting research of importance to the lives of children, families, and adults. Clients are invited to contribute to training and research by permitting the involvement of graduate student clinicians or by indicating they would be interested in being contacted about future research studies. The Centre strongly encourages student and research involvement, however, it is not required: Clients are free to decline student or research involvement, without affecting their eligibility for service or the quality of the service they receive. The clinic’s program of informing willing participants of research is approved by the University of Guelph Research Ethics Board.
