When maintenance or renovation work is performed that will disturb asbestos-containing building materials, it is imperative that workers adhere to proper work practices and procedures. This 4-hour classroom/practical instruction will cover the University of Guelph Standard Operating Procedures for Type 1 Asbestos activities. The session will include a review of the procedures, and hands on activities to provide practical experience in the execution of the procedures.
Target Audience: This program is specifically designed for all employees who conduct Type 1 asbestos activities.
