Biomedical Engineering - Restricted Electives - 2013/2014

1. Engineering Electives

The combination of elective credits required to graduate are noted in the Course Calendar for your specific Cohort. All elective course offerings are subject to a minimum enrollment of 10 students. Courses may be cancelled by the university at any time if enrollment is less than 10. Semester offerings for courses may change without notice. Students should refer to the current Undergraduate Calendar to confirm that the course will be offered in the semester indicated in this program guide. Concerned that the elective prerequisites have changed mid-program? See the Engineering Elective Prerequisite - History of Changes table.

2. Complementary Studies Electives

B.Eng. students must select [2.00] credits (four courses) from the Complementary Studies electives. You must select one course from each of the three sub-lists (CS-1, CS-2 and CS-3). The remaining 0.5 credit can be chosen from any of the three sub-lists. These electives are meant to broaden your knowledge of society, culture, government and the economy so that you may better understand the impact of engineering on society as large.

3. Conditions for Graduation

To qualify for the degree, the student must complete the courses required for the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Biomedical Engineering, obtaining a minimum of 23.25 credits, and must achieve an overall minimum cumulative average of at least 60% and a minimum cumulative average of at least 60% in all ENGG courses.
