The Engineering Program Counsellors are here to assist you with academic issues and personal issues that are impacting your academics.  Please come see us for assistance with course selection advice; academic program guidance; admission questions, such as transfer credits and credit equivalency; clarification of University of Guelph rules, policies and procedures; continuation of Study and Probation questions; and questions about co-op, the engineering profession, professional accreditation and licensure, etc.

I want to know how to better handle the demands of the engineering program. 

Engineering Peer Helpers are experienced engineering students providing help to their peers. We offer drop-in and by-appointment study groups to help you develop your problem-solving skills. You can also meet one-on-one with an Engineering Peer Helper to get advice and ideas on how to handle engineering classes, manage a busy course load, and make the most of your study time.

I'm struggling with my health and need support. 

The Department of Student Wellness provides health and wellbeing support and services to students and to the campus community. Health Services is our on-campus clinic, containing a dispensary (birth control pills), physicians and nursing services. The Wellness Education & Promotion Centre offers health and wellbeing programming, resources, and student peer-to-peer support.
