Practicum Placements

Practicums are field experiences that allow you to observe and document how working professionals perform their job responsibilities. Further, through seminars and supervised experiences you will be able to demonstrate how theory is connected to practice.

At the University of Guelph, practicum placements are offered in many programs including Adult Development and Applied Human Nutrition.

  • Kayla is a co-op student at the University of Guelph who is highly enagaged on campus with organizations like the College of Business and Economics Students Association (CBESA), College of Business and Economics Dean's Office and JDCC Guelph. Kayla is also involved in the local community Special Olympics and Movember Foundation. During her Co-op terms Kayla worked at Keyspire, University of Guelph Department of Athletics and Kellogg's Canada.
