Position Description:

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Guelph invites applications for a contractually-limited position at the Assistant Professor level.

The position will start August 12, 2019 with an end date of August 31, 2020. The position involves teaching mathematics as the primary responsibility with some statistics teaching possibly required. The successful candidate will be expected to help with recruitment efforts.

Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field and evidence of strong teaching potential at all levels. Previous experience teaching large mathematics classes at an introductory level is required and previous experience in mathematical outreach is beneficial. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
