Position Description:

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Guelph invites applications for a 2-year contractually-limited position at the Assistant Professor level.

The position will start September 1, 2020 with an end date of August 31, 2022. The position involves teaching statistics as the primary responsibility, with some mathematics teaching required, and will likely include remote teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to devote some time to service and research/scholarship.

Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in statistics or a related field and evidence of strong teaching potential at all levels. Previous teaching experience is required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
