Invitation to the "Economic Growth on First Nations: Opportunities and Constraints" Event...

On March 14th, the Department of FARE will be hosting an event: "Economic Growth on First Nations: Opportunities and Constraints".  This free event is open to the public, and will feature:

Chief Abram Benedict (Mohawk Council of Akwesasne)

Chief Ava Hill (Six Nations of the Grand River)

Chief Patrick Madahbee (Anishinabek Nation)

Deputy Grand Chief Gordon Peters (Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians)

Each guest will give a short presentation, followed by a moderated discussion and questions from the room.  This panel is an opportunity for students, faculty, and the public to gain greater insight into issues of contemporary and historic importance from the perspective of First Nations leaders.

The event is being held in Rozanski Hall, Room 102, from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.  We hope you will be able to attend and help to spread the word!
