Nick Schneider, MSc graduate from FARE is currently working as the environmental policy officer for a major international shipping company in Vancouver - Hamane Spirit Deck;  Hamane Spirit Bridge.

"I joined Teekay in 2008. With a fleet of over 150 vessels, Teekay transports more than 10 percent of the worlds seaborne oil. As their Technology and Environmental Project Manager, I investigate new technologies to reduce emissions and wastes from our vessels, and advise on greenhouse gas strategy (GHG) across the organization. For my MSc, I investigated what factors drive the adoption of greenhouse gas regulations at the national level. This knowledge has become valuable to employers. As more and more industries face impending GHG regulations, there is a growing demand for professionals who can communicate how organizations can best prepare for future environmental challenges. "
