Ethnobotanical Notes: Has been used a poultice for BOILS by the Menominee. The Pillager Ojibwe used the herb as a THROAT LOZENGE to clear the throat so they could sing better. The roots, made into a tea, were used as a wash for EYE AILMENTS (*2).
