Fruits with astringent, bitter and sweet taste, together with other ones prepared to juice, wine, jam, liqueur and for making vinegar. In Russia the fruits with the pits are dried, ground and mixed with meal for baking. In China fruits are pickled. The roots are used in India for dyeing. Different parts of the tree are used in China for folk medicine(1). |
