Used as an ingredient in cough medicine. Infusion of root rubbed on sores. Decoction of root taken for stomachache and infusion taken for "flux." Put in dog bed to de-louse pups and used to rid sheep of lice(*7). Decoction taken to vomit for stomachaches caused by menstruating women.Infusion of smashed roots taken for heart troubles. Compound infusion of whole plants taken for consumption with bad hemorrhage(*8)(3). |
