Emerging Issues in Food Safety
While food safety progress continues to be made, risk will always be present and changing due to emerging trends. Consumer demands can present food safety challenges. How does the food industry, academia and government work together to respond to consumer demands while at the same time ensure any food safety risks are mitigated? This year’s Symposium will examine emerging issues in food safety and what is being done to address them.
Objective of the Symposium:
To bring together people from the Guelph food safety network and others who are interested in the risk management approach to food quality and safety, in order to learn more about this topic, discuss issues of common interest and broaden networks.
