Other Ecosites

Proximity to all other ecosites is shown below (Figure 7). The ecosites have a spatial distribution that pertains to the western and southern regions of the province. Moose habitats are considered to be less suitable if it falls within any of these other ecosites. For this reason, all other ecosites besides the eastern lowlands have been combined. This contains the highlands, the northern uplands, the southern uplands, the continental and the grand lake ecoregions of New Brunswick (Ecoregions of New Brunswick, n.d.).
