Suitability of Forest Cover

Proximity to forest cover indicates that forest cover has a varying spatial distribution, with high forest cover densities in the eastern region of New Brunswick (Figure 4). Moose habitats are regarded as more suitable the closer it is located to forest cover due to the shelter provided.
