Who are we?
Established in 1966, the Department of Geography at the University of Guelph serves as a hub for research and teaching on human-environment geography, environmental geoscience, and geomatics. Our community includes nineteen full-time faculty who are acclaimed researchers and award-winning teachers, numerous sessional faculty committed to high quality instruction, seven dedicated staff who provide outstanding administrative and technical support, approximately 70 graduate students and 500 undergraduate majors. Collectively we strive to explore and address major social and environmental issues facing our global community.
