In this section, the four objectives to assessing the risk level of the nelson river under different inundation levels are identified and discussed in more detail. First a literature review will be conducted to determine the necessary variables that will be required to perform the GIS analysis and the criteria that will be necessary to perform the MCE. A theoretical GIS model will be created to perform a risk level MCE of the nelson river under multiple inundation levels. Next the GIS model will then be implemented with the goal of finding a risk level evaluation of the Nelson River. Finally, we will discuss the limitation that we expect our model will be prone to.
Objective 1: Identify Criteria at Risk After the Construction of the Keeyask Dam
Objective 2: Design GIS Model to Assess Potential Risks to the Criteria at the Keeyask Reservoir
Objective 3: Apply GIS model to Determine Level of Risk of Keeyask Dam on Multiple Inundation
Objective 4: Evaluate Strengths and Limitations of GIS Model
