The Guelph Institute of Development Studies mourns passing of Dr. William Winegard

We were all very saddened to hear the news that former University of Guelph president Dr. William Winegard has passed away. Bill was an enthusiastic supporter of international development studies here on campus, having founded scholarships and fellowships that continue to have an impact in the lives of students, faculty and staff. He was an internationalist in the truest sense of the word.
