Lynda.com offers thousands of video modules covering the most popular business and creative applications, as well as topics including software development, website design, animation, soft-skill training, audio and music, and photography. Aurora is an e-learning platform providing career advice to Graduate Students and postdocs. Students can complete two programs of study, Career Exploration and Career Strategies to explore career options and learn job search strategies to secure employment outside academia. Over 70 hours of on-demand videos and 120 interviews with PhDs are available on this site, with content being updated monthly. Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that designs and delivers research and training programs in Canada. This organization works with 60 universities, including U of G, 4,000 companies, and both federal and provincial governments, to build partnerships that support industrial and social innovation in Canada.
