I first met my advisor, Dr. Tom Hsiang, in the third year of my undergraduate studies when I took his Forest Health and Disease class. Overall, he has been a huge factor in encouraging me to go forward with graduate studies and continues to make me happy with the decision to do so.

As Canada's Agricultural University, the University of Guelph was my first choice as a food researcher.  With the recent addition of the Arrell Food Institute, I couldn't imagine a better fit than the University of Guelph.

What I like the best about University of Guelph is the positive and active atmosphere among students, profs and staff. Everybody is enthusiastic and passionate towards what they do!
