Financial Planning

Making plans for financial support is very important as you plan for the next stage of your education as a graduate student. How do you handle your financial concerns? Financial planning for graduate students is a must. Learn more about successful financial planning strategies. To assist you in your financial planning please consult these Cost of Living Guidelines.

Applying for Funding

The Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies encourages all students (both new and in-course) to actively seek out scholarship opportunities and assistance. Scholarships and bursaries allow students the freedom to focus more on their studies and less on making ends meet.

Current Award Holders

Tri-Council (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) Award Holders are advised to familiarize themselves with the Award Holders Guide for their agency and to consult the Tri-Council Award Holder’s Guide for Guelph Students for information on the Tri-Council Top-up and Paid Parental Leave.
