About My Advisor...

“My advisor is an extremely approachable and gracious individual and he has been pushing me to become my best. I attribute much of my success to his teachings and mentorship.”

Why I Chose Guelph...

“I love the community of the University of Guelph and also the city in general. Being a Guelph native, I’ve become accustomed to the wonderful sights and events this city has to offer. The faculty and students at Guelph are extremely approachable and welcoming.”

About the City...

“Some of the major draws to Guelph, in my opinion, are the people and the strong sense of community. Anywhere you go, people are very forthcoming and there is always a great deal of opportunities to get involved in community service and volunteering. It is difficult to describe unless you experience it for yourself but Guelph is unlike any other city I’ve been in. It is full of great places and attractions, plenty of things to do, tons of great people to meet and always lots to learn.”

My Future Plans...

“After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in medicine or another healthcare-related field. I also have a passion for service in a global capacity so I hope to dedicate some of my time in an international setting upon becoming a designated healthcare professional. Guelph has helped me reach this goal through providing me with countless opportunities to become involved by volunteering in hospital settings and understanding the importance of service within this community.”

Other Thoughts...

“The people in Guelph, both faculty members and community leaders, have taught me lessons and people skills that cannot be taught in the classroom. I firmly believe that my education and surroundings at Guelph have shaped me into the person I am becoming and I hope to be able to contribute back to society in a meaningful way.”
