The GSA is hosting a Virtual Networking Event on March 30th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The event will start off with a keynote address from Dr. Kristopher Gies as he identifies some of the best strategies to effectively network.

On February 23rd at 7:00 pm, the GSA will be holding a Virtual Paint Night with the talented Justine McCloy. This is a collaborative event where you can follow along with the artist as she provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a masterpiece. You don't have to be an expert artist to enjoy this paint night event, all skill levels are welcome to participate!

Virtual Trivia Night is a week away! Don’t forget to sign your team up by emailing gsaact@uoguelph.ca... did I mention there are prizes for the first place team? Join the upcoming Virtual Trivia Night co-hosted by the GSA and History Department. Theme: "Great Minds Think Alike: Literature, history, music, and famous thinkers."

Mark your calendars for the 2020 GSA AGM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. There are prizes to be won for attendees! Due to COVID-19 restrictions the meeting will be held virtually via Teams! Access the AGM link.

Are you a PhD student interested in doing a postdoc? Not sure what a postdoc is, or who to ask? Join us at the upcoming Postdoc – PhD Virtual Mentorship Event, cohosted by the GSA and Postdoctoral Society. This event features a panel of U of G Postdoctoral Researchers from various backgrounds and disciplines that will share their experience on the transition from the PhD to a postdoc, and will answer your questions!
