Lindsay Plater

Vice-President External

Lindsay is a second year Master’s student in the Department of Psychology, currently completing her Master of Science in Neuroscience and Applied Cognitive Science with a Collaborative Neuroscience specialization. During her short time at the University of Guelph, she has joined both the Psychology Graduate Student Association and the Graduate Students’ Association in leadership roles in order to improve the graduate student experience. By being an engaged member on these two teams, Lindsay disseminates information about critical deadlines, fun social events, and opportunities available to graduate students.
Lindsay is a dedicated, compassionate individual who cares about many causes, especially social justice and mental health. In her role as GSA Vice President External, she uses her passion for student well-being to advocate on behalf of the graduate student body. She is always here if you need someone to talk to; e-mail
