Ontario Beef Taste Panel Recruitment

Are you interested in being on a taste panel?  Do you eat beef on a regular basis?  We are looking for you!   We are conducting a study on investigating the impact of different finishing diets on the eating quality (tenderness, juiciness, flavour) of Ontario beef and are looking to recruit subjects for a trained taste panel.  There will be a maximum time commitment of 4 hours per week for approximately 8 weeks, for at most 1 hour per day over the lunch hour from Monday to Thursday.  The study will start in October and end in late November.  Participants will be provided with monetary compensation for taking part in the study.

To participate in the study, please contact Natalie Ferriman at nferrima@uoguelph.ca for more information on how you can get involved.  Interested participants should have no known food allergies.

This project (REB# 17-08-021) has been reviewed by the Research Ethics Board for compliance with federal guidelines for research involving human participants.
